Q:What can I manage with PipeLine?
PipeLine lets you manage your entire contracting business: projects, clients, invoices, expenses, employees, materials, and buildings. You can track job progress, generate PDF invoices, monitor expenses by category, manage your team, and keep inventory of materials — all from one app.
Q:Does PipeLine work without internet?
Yes! PipeLine is built offline-first. All your business data is stored locally on your device using an encrypted database. You can create invoices, log expenses, and manage projects without any internet connection. The app works fully offline.
Q:Is my business data private and secure?
Absolutely. PipeLine stores ALL data locally on your device — nothing is uploaded to the cloud. We use encrypted local storage for sensitive business information. The only data sent externally is anonymous Firebase analytics to help us improve the app, and you can opt out of that.
Q:Is PipeLine free to use?
PipeLine is currently in beta and free to use. We plan to offer a generous free tier for solo contractors and affordable premium plans for larger teams. Early beta users will receive special pricing when premium features launch.
Q:Can I generate invoices and PDF reports?
Yes! PipeLine can generate professional PDF invoices directly from your project data. You can also create PDF reports for project summaries, expense breakdowns, and client overviews. All PDFs are generated on-device and can be shared via email, WhatsApp, or any other app.
Q:Does PipeLine provide financial or legal advice?
No. PipeLine is a business management tool that helps you organize and track your data. It does not provide financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice. Always consult qualified professionals for financial and legal matters.
Q:What happens to my data if I uninstall the app?
Since all data is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the app will delete all your business data. We recommend exporting important data (invoices, reports) as PDFs before uninstalling. A backup and restore feature is planned for a future release.
Q:When will PipeLine be available on the Play Store?
PipeLine is currently in beta testing. We plan to launch on the Google Play Store soon. Join our beta program to get early access and help shape the app with your feedback. iOS support is being considered for future releases.
