POPOS — Restaurant POS & Billing

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using POPOS (“the App”), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the App.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to use POPOS for commercial use in operating your own restaurant or food-service business. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title.

Under this license you may:

  • Use POPOS to manage your own restaurant operations (orders, menu, customers, employees, inventory, payments, expenses, reports)
  • Generate receipts, KOT prints, and PDF reports
  • Export your business data using POPOS's built-in tools
  • Customise menus, taxes, and printer settings

Under this license you may not:

  • Modify, copy, or redistribute the App or any part of it
  • Use the App to provide a hosted POS service to third parties
  • Reverse-engineer the App or attempt to extract its source code
  • Remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices from the App

3. Operator Compliance Responsibility

POPOS is a tool. You, the restaurant operator, are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations that apply to your business, including but not limited to:

  • Food-service regulations — health, hygiene, allergen disclosure, licensing
  • Tax laws — GST, VAT, sales tax, service tax, configuration of tax rates inside POPOS, filing and remittance
  • Labour and payroll laws — minimum wage, attendance records, statutory deductions for employees you record in POPOS
  • Data protection laws — see the Privacy Policy section on Restaurant Operator Responsibility
  • Receipt and invoicing requirements — formatting, retention periods, mandatory disclosures

Devikon Inc. does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. Configure POPOS to match your jurisdiction's requirements; consult a professional if unsure.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

POPOS is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Devikon Inc. disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that data calculations (totals, taxes, payroll, inventory levels) will be accurate in every edge case — verify critical numbers before acting on them.

5. Limitations of Liability

In no event shall Devikon Inc. or its suppliers be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use POPOS, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you in full.

6. Data Backup

Because all your business data is stored locally on your device, you are solely responsible for backing it up. POPOS provides export tools under Settings → Backup. Devikon Inc. cannot recover lost data after device loss, theft, damage, or factory reset.

7. Updates and Changes

We may release updates to POPOS that add, modify, or remove features. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; the “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of POPOS after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by uninstalling POPOS. Devikon Inc. may terminate it if you fail to comply with these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
